Data controller
The data controller is Synodome - Operational Intelligence, VAT no. IT03780310540, registered office at Via Irlanda, 13, Bastia Umbra, 06083 PG, Italy. For personal-data requests: legal@synodome.com.
Data we collect
When you join a waitlist or subscribe to Synodome updates, we collect your email address and, if you provide them, your name and company. We also record the interests you select, language, sign-up point, date and time, and the version of the consent notice. To protect the forms, we retain a pseudonymised technical identifier briefly for anti-abuse limits; Cloudflare Turnstile performs a security check.
Purposes and legal bases
We use subscription data to send updates about the waitlist, products, Synodome Advisory or general updates you selected. The legal basis is your express consent through the form checkbox (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to legal@synodome.com; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. Technical checks against abuse and unauthorised access rely on our legitimate interest in service security (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention and deletion
Each subscription is retained for 180 days from collection and is then deleted automatically. If you selected more than one list, each subscription has its own retention period; your contact is deleted once no subscription remains. We delete data earlier if you withdraw consent or request erasure, unless the law requires otherwise.
Recipients and transfers
Only people authorised by Synodome can access the data. We use technical providers such as Netlify and Cloudflare to host the site, protect forms and store the database; they process data on Synodome’s behalf under their applicable agreements. Their services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; where this happens, the transfer mechanisms required by applicable law, including standard contractual clauses where needed, are used.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability; you may also withdraw consent. Write to legal@synodome.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the authority in your country.
Automated decisions
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
